Together with Cad & The Dandy we are proud to be collaborating with Mackintosh, offering a unique opportunity to create custom waterproof garments.
The Mackintosh story began at the dawn of the industrial revolution in the early 19th Century when Scottish chemist Charles Macintosh invented a new method of waterproofing cotton. Since then Mackintosh has been one of the world’s most influential coat makers and the brand has become synonymous with its outerwear products. The classic Bonded Cotton & Rubber Mackintosh is often referred to as an heirloom piece, something timeless that can last for generations.
Joining the ranks of a series of esteemed collaborators such as Gucci, Hermes, Louis Vuitton and Liberty, Cad & The Dandy was chosen to launch the companies first foray into the world of bespoke.
We are delighted to be able to combine the quality and craftsmanship that both names embody, to offer you a selection of water-repellent bonded cottons. Once our expert tailors have taken your measurements, your coat will be handmade over 8 weeks in Mackintosh’s own workshop.
Working with the team you will be able to choose from a range of models, classic and archived fabrics as well as a series of details and trims to create your own unique garment.
